As a creative illustrator and designer who loves making stuff with a purpose, Thomcat23’s work often focuses on social, political, and environmental issues while pushing unrelated forms and visual puns together. Thomcat23’s work falls into the Pop-Surrealism realm by illuminating the absurd, preposterous, and comical. Early in his career, Thomcat23 worked as a graphic designer in the sports marketing world, with clients including the Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Flyers, Minor League Baseball, hockey, and Arena League Football teams. Since that time, Thomcat23 has garnered a sizable social media following, leading him to gallery shows and collaborations with companies such as Nike/ Sneaker-Lab (Now Cultivator), Moment Watches, and other artists. He is currently a resident artist at Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia.
