The Scribe keeps time and detailed record of the past, present and future in the making. The collective memory of the community is remembered through the work of The Scribe. Different from the purely oral historian or the griot, The Scribe is charged with creating cultural archives — be it analog or digital – that tell the story of their people that will survive the ages.
